SUMMARY:CSIME Participates in the 2nd Christian Muslim Dialogue
DESCRIPTION:Ayatollah Iravani is one of the members of the steering committee for the Christian Muslim Summit along with the Right Reverend John Bryson Chane (Episcopal Bishop of Washington) and the Reverend Canon John L. Peterson (Director\, Center for Global Justice and Reconciliation\, Washington National Cathedral). Upon the invitation of the Sunni Mufti of Tripoli and the North Lebanon\, Dr. Sheikh Malek Chaar\, Dr. Iravani traveled to Lebanon to discuss the progression of the second Christian Muslim Dialogue Summit\, which will be held in Lebanon. He met with the president of the Notre Dame University in Lebanon\, Dr. Walid Moussa\, and in his meeting with Dr. Edward Alam\, Professor of Philosophy and Theology in the Faculty of Humanities\, they agreed upon cooperation between CSIME and Professor Alam’s center at the Notre Dame University.
