The subject was the disappearing Hamoun wetlands of Sistan\, Iran and the need for technical and financial assistance from the World Bank. The documentary film\, Once a Hamoun\, directed by the well-known film maker\, Mohammad Ehsani\, was shown. David Laylin was instrumental in getting this film made\, approved and shown.
