Safe Haven Ministries, sponsored and supported by Moe Mohanna, is a place of worship that is open to over 2,000 homeless individuals in Sacramento. On October 29, 2010, Mohanna sponsored an event for Safe Haven Ministries to bring together business and political leaders to discuss the role of faith in society and serving humanity. Ruth Graham, the daughter of legendary Evangelist Billy Graham, was the featured guest speaker. She emphasized the importance of faith and religion in creating a positive atmosphere for understanding and tolerance between diverse groups. The event took place in Sacramento at the site of the future homeless shelter belonging to Mohanna.
